New Tank for Pug

Hey guys I got my PUG out of the 2.5 and into a 5 gal. Tank. I would love it if ya'll could come to my profile and view my new tank album and look at my new home. Please give me some ideas of what kinds of things would make my tank really fun for me! My adoptive dad is a human and doesnt speak Betta so I cant tell him what I like and needs your help !

And yes the cup is Temporary he just put that in there so it would'nt be so empty...

I find that at night, they like to sleep on something that is near the surface.
In my tanks that do not have live plants, I use Tetra water wonder plastic plants. They will float at the surface if you remove the plastic thing attached to them that is supposed to go into the gravel. At night I will find the bettas resting in the plant. Plus it gives them some cover at the surface and that will make them feel more secure as well.

Or you can use real floating plants depending on how much light the tank gets. I think hornwort and anacharis are both low light floating plants.

it really depends on the fish. one of mine sleeps everywhere and anywhere. on the substrate, on the rock, hanging at the surface, under the driftwood lol
