hey everybody!
Just finished taking my "rainbow gravel" out and putting "super natural moonlight sand" in! I barely had to rinse it and it didnt cloud the water much! It is SUPER fine, like flour, and has the consistency of beach sand....
it said it would make my ph neutral, and i tested it (with strips) and the ph and hardness went down A LITTLE.
can you help me COMPARE this picture TO THE CHART?

In a couple of weeks i will be adding some Peppered Corydoras, i have hard akaline water....but they live in this water at my LFS.
Honeycomb ate some, decided it wasnt good and has left it alone since.
Photos to come! It is GORGEOUS! I love it!
The tank is 2 years old, and cycled. I kept the cycle in my media alive, and the bacteria on my other equipment and decoration alive, along with my moss balls by putting them in a container of tank water.
To avoid a mini-cycle,
i seeded it with some of my old gravel.
Tell me what you think,
and please give opinions and suggestions!!!!
