How should I cange water in small plastik box?

I have a Betta that will have to do without an aquarium for some days, unstill I get a new up and running.

But how should I change water in a small container (2 liters). The breeders seem to change all of the water every 3. day. But would it not be better to cange only 50% of the water?

only if you're doing a 50% water change every day and getting rid of all the debris at the bottom with a gravel vacuum or a turkey baster.

You need to do 100% every couple of days, as constant partial changes will leave a percentage of ammonia and other toxins in the water, and it builds up real fast anyway in a small container.

Every 2nd day, in a tiny container like that is what I'd do.

OK Thanks Good thing I asked, I thought that a partial change was better.
