Ok i know hes not a betta! But i was afraid if i posted it in another section, i wouldnt get a reply on time. Ok so i had a horrible, tragic filter mishap where the protecter thing at the end of the filter that keeps the fish from getting sucked up, broke off! Both of my cories got sucked in and unfortunately passed away. But one of my adfs got in too. Hes in horrible condition! Hes extremely skinny, has a broken leg, his foot is bloody, and i think he was in there so long that his bloody foot developed a fungus. I have NO idea how long he was in there as i was away all weekend! I feel horrible and i seriously think he may die tonite. He cant swim up to the top of my tank to get air, so hes floating in a cup right now. He hasnt moved in a while! And im trying to feed him some bloodworms right now! So please help! I dont know what to do!

Him: :,,,,((( im soo sad right now! He wont even eat.. I feel like a horrible fish mother. I dont think i will ever buy anymore fish after this.. Its just too painful to see him suffer

I'm not too familiar with ADFs but if you have Stress Coat, go ahead and put some in. It can only help him. Just keep his water clean so that foot wound can't get infected. I'm so sorry I can't help more but I just don't know much about frogs. I need to go learn so I can help our froggy friends.

Don't beat yourself up. Filter mishaps happen. It's, unfortunately, a part of fish and fish equipment. It's not your fault. Sometimes bad things happen to good fishkeepers.
