Eheim Jager

Will the Eheim Jager 100W work in the US? I'm planning to get the Jager on Amazon and was wondering if I can use it in a regular USA plug. Also, when it says Fully Submersible means I can put the whole heater in the water?

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...A1PVJENL0IJHJ4

Thanks!

Thank you!

Now I just gotta find out if that Jager would work in the US. If not, can someone recommend me the best heater I can get? No too expensive tho :p

I have a 50w one in my tank. Ordered it through Amazon. I don't know if they come with different plugs or not, but mine is US.

I'm assuming if the place you get it from is an official US supplier of Eheim products (and isn't just doing grey imports), the cord should be compatible for the US.

Our power points down here in Australia are different and the Eheim brand heaters I use are all compatible. I am assuming that during the manufacturing process they put different plugs on for different countries that they supply to.

Great news. I love my Eheim jager heaters. I have used a few cheaper brands and my jagers always stay at a consistent temperature and tolerate my accidental abuse well.

:) nice. usually what you need to watch out for is the voltage the heater is supposed to be running on.
USA uses 110V whilst many other coutries use 220V
that said... I'm doig te same thing with a heater from asia so... mreh
