Banana Lillies!

Okay, so I'm going to be setting up an NPT this week/weekend-ish and I have my plants in quarantine and all that jazz and I just noticed today that my banana lilly has dropped some of its smaller leaves and has developed some MASSIVE lilly pads :D the larger leaves are about 1.5-2 inches across (I say massive because when I got the plant the leaves were maybe .5-1 inch across)

Anyway, I take it this is a good sign right??? XD

Also, question:
The longest stem/branch of the plant has decided that it no longer wants the leaf that's attached to it (I think) and has shrunk(?) part of the stem so I'm assuming that leaf is getting less nutrients. The stem kind of looks like this

I can get a picture later if I need to.
Is this okay for my plant? It's in the process of developing a new leaf right now, it looks like it should start unfolding in the next couple of days or so (down at the base of the plant)

Yes, that's the one that has the minor issue, I guess I wasn't too clear bout that xD

When ohe leaf makkes it to the surface it either starts growing them to the surface or kills them cant remember.

lol. yes for lily leaves, if one makes it to the surface, the following leaves it puts out will shoot straight for the surface as well

That's happened to mine as well. I have 4 of them (lilies) and I think each one has sent a pad to the surface. They kind of twist towards the light bulb. My betta loves them. Hangs out underneath them for shade, there's one that he builds his bubble nest under. Sometimes he'll use the stem to help him hold his tail.
