bummer ...anacharis and cabomba :/

I really wanted to get some anacharis or cabomba for my bettas and guppies since many highly recommened it for ammonia control...

after looking to order some I learned we arent allowed to have it in Maine along with like 4 other states and no company will ship it here.

What are some other options?? Ive had bad luck with keeping water sprite and mint charlie, I could possibly try those again, but id love something more like the anacharis...any thoughts?

Oh gosh that really is a bummer. Anacharis is a really good ammonia sucker. You could try hornwort; hopefully that one is legal 0-0. It's supposed to be pretty low maintenece like anacharis and it grows very fast and tall. It looks very natural but you might have to trim it every now and then because it can overgrow lol.
