HELP color gone!

my betta was fine yesterday, and then all of the sudden i woke up and almost all of his color is gone out of his skin. his left gill his moving extremely fast compared to the right, and he isnt swimming around like he usally does. please help!

Does your tank have an air stone or other type of aeration? yes
Is your tank heated? yes
What tank mates does your betta fish live with? none

Food
What type of food do you feed your betta fish? omega one betta pellets
How often do you feed your betta fish? twice a day

Maintenance
How often do you perform a water change? every week- change water 50% every two weeks- do a complete water change

Symptoms and Treatment
How has your betta fish's appearance changed? almost all of his color is gone. my icon photo is a pic of my fish, but now he looks almost clear
How has your betta fish's behavior changed? he usaully swims around, and explores, but he has been resting and not moving very much
When did you start noticing the symptoms? this morning, yesterday he ws colorful and full of energy
Have you started treating your fish? If so, how? no i dont know what to do
Does your fish have any history of being ill? no
How old is your fish (approximately)? very young, 2 months with me

*I think today, i will clean his tank really well and do a water change to see if that helps.*

Is it possible that he got his head stuck somewhere and had to struggle to get himself out? Stress could cause the color change and heavy breathing and the gill damage could have occurred from trying to get un-stuck? Just a theory.

In any case water changes are the best medicine! maybe some Stress Coat?

i do have a betta log, and i guess he could have gotten stuck. im not sure. what is stress Coat?
