Basic Feeding Question

I'm embarrassed that I don't know the answer to this, but in general how much should a betta be fed per day? After doing some reading, I think I might be guilty of a little overfeeding...

From what I read, Twice should be enough. Every 12 hours or so. But those are for Pellets, I'm not sure about the the other stuff.

What I do for my betta is that I feed him the Pellet in the morning and bloodworms for his next meal (He loves it!)

But overall, it depends on the fish, and the size.

I don't even feed every day... It is kind of personal preference. Though my fish can also hunt because I have snails and other creatures living in my tank that I can't identify, but the bettas find yummy... Remember, do not feed more than what would figuratively fit on his eyeball. It is a very small amount!

Every betta is different. Some people feed 2 or 1 pellet. Some people do bloodworms once a week only. I guess you just kind of learn what your betta can handle. My Mufasa can do 3 pellets morning and night. My zorro can do four. My art who is a large plakat can do 5 pellets. All of them get one meal replace by blood worms twice a week as a treat. Lucy who is a baby gets one pellet and also her treats twice a week. It varies. Start with 2 and then observe his belly. It shouldn't be too rounded or stick out. Also the quality of food makes a difference. Hope this helps :)))

Bloodworms should be fed as a once or twice a week treat. I feed mine 5-6 pellets once a day but you can feed them twice a day, 2-3 pellets each feeding.

I usually feed my betta 3 pellets a day. He seems to be doing fine. I would also recommend fasting him one day a week. On Friday I feed him one pellet, and on Saturday I feed him none.

I give Bradbury 5 pellets every day and brine shrimp or blood worms as a treat once or twice to eat. Each fish is different though...
