Love garage sales!

I woke up this morning and wondered why there were so many cars in front of my house. Well, it turned out that the business across the street was having a garage sale...I got a 10g tank, lid with light for $5! They had quite a few different lids and lights. The one I got is a little long for the tank, but should work great! Cool deal!

xD nice, man now I need to find some garage sales. People with nice tanks. There are a lot of people who keep saltwater aquariums around me though.

Garage sales are the best!
A few years back I got a beautiful wrought-iron stand with a 10-gallon tank for $10.....Looked stunning with all my flashy fishies in it.
Another time I got a really cute white cage for my budgies. And this summer I was at a flea market and I got a GORGEOUS tall onion-top cage for the budgies, it's huge and they love it!
Also, what did I get? Oh, I got a really crappy English saddle for $25, cleaned it up, found out it is worth roughly $700 brand new, and sold it for $200.....oh, the wonders you'll find at cheap sales xD
At an auction I got a beautiful typewriter form 1929 for $1, and sold it for $30.
You people should really take advantage of these things xD

I have never found an English saddle anywhere but man would I love to get one for that price. Normally the only ones I find are at tack shops and used they are still so expensive. >.<

Thanks everyone..it is so sweet. I still have to check the tank for leaks, but it looks sound...a little water discolorations, and a stick on thermometer that may never come off, but as long as it holds water! Now I need to decide if I'm dividing it and moving Beau and Brady out of the 5.5 and Kyoshi into that one, or just setting up Kyoshi in the 10 by himself...I still need to get a filter for it though. Or do I want to plant the 10g?? Hmmmm lol.

Wow, great deals! I love garage sales...I think I was there two minutes before I spotted the tank, then we saw a couple of different tops and lights...wish I had found some filters and heaters though. That bird cage is awesome!
