Should I buy a heater!?

Hey,

As you see in my profile, I live in Bangalore and temperature here normally between 22 to 28C.
Hence I thought it might not be necessary for me to buy a heater. But recently we were hit by a cyclone and it's quite chill with temperature around 18C.
My betta looks usual, active, hogs food, flares and everything.
The question is will he show any signs if the lower temperature is troubling him?
Is it a must to get a heater?
Though cyclone is gone now & regular weather is expected to return from tomorrow, I just want to know.

I would get one just to have in the event temps drop low, like an emergency backup for heat. Otherwise you seem to be in warm enough climate on a regular basis to not need it for every day use.

The temperature of the water isn't always the same as the air temp. I would get a thermometer and check the water temp.
