Epsom salt and quick cure worked? Strange...Wonder what his issue was?
quick cure is basically Malachite green and Epsom salt is usually used for internal issues like swim bladder and constipation.

But he changed the water and didn't add anymore bettafix, which could have been making his condition worse.

Glad he's feeling better. I do have one question for you, when you got him, was the tank and everything new? Did you rinse or soak the gravel/heater/decor after buying them and before using them?

The tank had been used before, but I washed everything out with REALLY hot water! I couldn't stick my hand in it for 5 seconds! I did get new gravel and washed that out best I could. Everything was scrubbed clean. He's doing much better today! MUCH more active! Yay!!!

He's becoming unclamped! Swimming, unclamping, and flaring at my finger when I put it up to the tank! I'm so happy! :D I think it was the bettafix!!
