This is the 4 day without any power. I have been heating water on BBQ to warm up water to put in tank. I have been doing 3 times a day. and adding conditioner. Taking 50% out and putting 50% warm water back in. He seems to be doing good . I hope I dont run out of propane before power comes back on. They say it can take two weeks before power comes back.

Hope everyone else is well. Im at work right now they got power back. Very strange on Long Island, No stores open, no traffic lights, no banks open, No gas.If you find a gas station you have to wait 2 hours for it. No power to 80% of LIPA customers.

Ill try to stay in touch. I hope Gill makes it through the two weeks. I really do love him.

Two weeks without power is nothing. When Hurricane Georges hit us we were without power for three months.

Yeah, but her location is considerably colder than yours! Which makes it much more problematic to keep your betta at a comfy temperature.

Thank you all, Gill & I made it through. Power came back on Sunday. I did not have any damage to my house. I couldnt bring Gill to work, I only went to work that one day. But heated his water on BBQ and change his water 2 or 3 times a day and than put towels around tank. Thank you all for letting me know about the towel before the storm.

My dad lives in Freeport and was saying he had 3 feet if water in his house at one point.
