Normal apple snail?

I just noticed today that Mac, my apple snail I got about a week or so ago has neon orange spots on his body[ not his shell] and rings around his eyes.

Anyone know what this is? I can get a picture later today.

It is completely normal. Makes me miss my apple snail. They are so much more fantastic looking than people give them credit for. I should get another one. Mine was blue and it still had the orange spots.

I know! I love Mac! He is so cool and funny! He will go out of his way to crawl to the wayy top just to let go and glide all the way to the bottom, It's hilarious!

I'm definitely getting another one!
Possibly a female so the can make babies and I can share their glory with friends! lololol
