Thialand?

Mt Petco is going to be switching from Thialand to Georgia for Bettas? Are Georgia Bettas better than thialand I know most of the other Petcos use Georgia.

very good bettas can be found just about anywhere though it will depend on how the breeder goes about producing the bettas. its possible you could get a low quality betta from Thailand and a high quality betta from North America. it could also easily be the other way around. it depends which individual(s) they get the betta from.

north american breeders to base their bettas off by purchasing Thai bettas as the starting point to a good extent. it may not always be the case they start with thai bettas but offspring would be domestic with Thai parents.

Well it might be easier on the fish shipping from already in the states rather than half-way across the world..

They can sell them pretty cheap here I feel like I am losing Carter the Thialand supplier bred Carter.
