Is It Dangerous?

This morning when I went to go feed Perry I noticed a ragged bump between Perry's stomach and mouth. It was at the bottom of the gills. When I returned home it was gone. Will it come back? I'm scared. Any help?

It could just be his stomach, but if i where you I would watch him and do some disease re-search.

It come back every morning and goes away that same afternoon.

It could just be something like crust, from when he sleeps, like we get.
