Pics of my Baby

I'm posting these pics for a 2 reasons. One, there are pics of roughly 3 consecutive weeks so people who've just purchased their own baby can see how quickly they progress and mature.

Also, I'm hoping someone can tell me if it's a male, female or too early to tell. For now I am assuming she's a girl since that's what I want. Her name is Storm as I bought her the weekend of the recent Hurricane.

Pic on 10/26 about 2 days after I got her - see how transparent and pale she is?



About a week later on 11/3 - not as transparent but still very stripey.



Today, 11/12 - her colors really just came in this past weekend and she's getting pretty big









Also taken today - blurry but shows her color under the light

Thanks. If it's a girl she'll probably go in my community tank when she's full grown. Maybe.

Very cute! I think she looks like a girl, too. If you look at her belly between her ventral fins, is there a white dot? I'm not sure what tail type, either. My girl is a veiltail, and her tail is shaped differently. Yours almost looks like the shape of a crown tail's tail, but the edge doesn't look like a comb, does it?
She's growing really fast!

She is growing fast, and very pretty, looks like one of my girls, I do think girl as well, My girl had that same look, no color, stripes, now she is blossoming with color, look for the egg spot under the tummy:)

Her belly is white, so it's kind of hard to see an eggspot if there's one there. I "think" I see one but that could be wishful thinking.

Her tail has no crowning on it, but it's quite round.
