My betta's tail

Hi!

Well, I made a post before about my betta's tail. And today I found a small part of my betta's tail in his tank. His fins seem to be shredded at the ends. Is this fin rot, tail biting or anything else?

If you found a big piece of it in the tank, then he is biting it.

What kind of plants do you have in the tank? Plastic or silk? If plastic that could be what is tearing his fins, if he is tail biting or his fins are being torn, make sure his water stays clean and warm to prevent fin rot. Hope this helps!!! :)

I have two plastic plants and a silk plant. Though, I don't think the plastic ones are rough-edged or anything of the sort.

Can you get hold of any Indian Almond Leaves? That should help with the healing too.

Wow, so today my Betta's fins have gotten significantly worse.
Do these plastic plants seem to be the problem?

Looks like tail biting that evolved into fin rot. Treat him with Aquarium salt and keep his water worm, preferably 78-80 degrees.
If he continues to tail bite, try to stimulate him by having him flare at a mirror.
Good luck! :)
