ahh... ignore the chart. ph8 is ok for a betta. she should adapt fine. annd if this came from the same water source as when you used the previous tank, I wouldn't worry about it.

Good to hear!

She's in her cup now getting acclimated to the new water. I guess I will keep her in the cup for another 15 minutes and then move to her med tank. 15-20 mins is long enough, right?

I will keep you updated.

15-20 min is fine. Make sure you cover container she is in, bettas can really jump so be careful. Never leave the container open especially if you leave him without supervision.
I didn't understand what you guys decided on aquarium salt. If she acting normal i would hold on aq salt.

Aquarium salt is very safe all water has salinty and Bettas are more tolerant of salt than things like cories.
