You can get good deals on Craigslist - I got my big tank on CL, altho I paid more than I should have for it (I needed a specific size & style to fit in the only area I had for a bigger tank). No shame in using CL!

I checked craigslist and there is this one tank but it's plastic. Others are wayyy too big for me to maintain for now(i'm a betta n00b ;).
I emailed someone if they were willing to sell just the ghost shrimp + a few plants though xD I don't know if my local petco has ghost shrimp. I'll give them a call tomorrow.

Thank you for all the wonderful suggestions and help. Fred and I really appreciate it. today I made him a little porcelain cave to put in the new tank. Also ordered some marimo balls.

Ordered the 5gal, a matching cover, stress coat, and the api testing kit. Thanks for all the help! I'm going to get some ghost shrimp and some plants soon.

I used the veggie crisper from my new frige as a tank for awhile I stole it when I left alaska in January too


Are those aqua tanks what they use for the aquascaping contests? *wants*
