Fin Rot or Something Else.

Im sorry I dont have a picture out lately my male veiltale orange betta named Kimani has seemed weird. I mean he is behaving normal however his fins seem to be getting a little shorter. Although they dont look raged or anything like you see with fin rot. Its been gradual. I was thinking maybe he is a tail bitter but i am not sure. What do you think? Does anyone have a picture of a tail biter bettas tail that I could see what that looks like. Please help.

It sounds like fin rot.
If there are chunks taken off then it is tail biting. Tail biters vary in different degrees. Some are more severe, others only nibble.
