New Girl Is Clamped....

I dont know why... her tank is almost 80* and she is in a 2.5 gallon. and well.....the filter isnt strong... nothing should be bad in it.... :( any one know why? AQ salt hasnt helped. and then my other new girl has stress striped, but they were gone earlier.... i think she just had to get used to her new home...

Have you tested your water for ammonia, nitrites, nitrates & Ph? When was your last water change & how much? How long has the tank been set up? How long have you had her? More info is needed to better help. Are they in the same tank?

She may just be adjusting to her new home.. give her some time and see how she does. Unfortunately, we can't always know what we are getting (health wise) when we bring home new fish. So for now, give her time to adjust and see how she is doing in a few days.

Good :) Some shy fish in new homes will be a bit stressed until they learn it's safe. She now feels a bit more covered/protected with the decoration.

The same thing happened to my girl when I first got her. Her water params and temp were fine, but she was clamped. She went back to normal in a few days. I think she was just getting used to her new home and new tank.
