Kritter Keeper or Pickle jar/fish bowl?

So, my males are all in tanks of varying sizes.
Tigger and Caspian both have their own 1.5 gallon set up, Tiggers has a hiding cave and Caspian's got his betta hammock (he loves it to death!).
Dragon is in a large Vlasic pickle jar (He's a little gimpy)
Prince Nez has a fairly spacious fish bowl (courtesy of my mother)
Cecelia is in a large Vlasic pickle jar (too small to be in the 30G with the other girls)
and Andy is in a brand new Kritter Keeper, complete with a hiding cave.

Do you think the larger Kritter Keepers would be a better choice for the 3 in the pickle jar/fish bowls? or are they about the same either way?

I really want these guys to be comfortable, seeing as my mom won't allow me to purchase a larger tank to divide up for them.

I think that the kritter keepers are a better choice so you can get a heater in there and they'll have more room. but thats just me, Others may disagree.

Kritter keeper. They work nicely. Plus I don't use pickle jars because I'm afraid I can't clean them well enough.

Since betta fish are surface dwellers, more surface space is preferred. In particular for your gimpy one, the lower water level will be beneficial.
