Styrofoam?

Not sure if this is the proper place to ask, so, sorry if it is.

I've seen many threads around here on shipping bettas, so, going to try to not have a duplicate here.

I'm shipping my two boys to LA in about two weeks. I have a box, bags, a heatpack, and newspaper. Packing peanuts should be here soon-ish. Now, what should I do about the styrofoam insulator? Where do most people go to get their's? Would aluminum foil be a decent insulator or no?

Thanks, and sorry~

Home depot and lowes. I have never tried aluminum foil or know anyone who uses that for insulating their fish shipments. Styrofoam works well and I would just stick with that since it is quite affordable anyway. Good luck!

My fish was shipped with foil-backed styrofoam. Don't know where you'd find that, but you could make it if you wanted too.
