I felt so bad for my Betta....

I went out and bought a 10 gallon tank with a heater and a filter and a few more fish. He was in a 1 gallon tank with no heater or filter. He seems to be much more active and happy. I wish everyone would do that with Betta's!

Good for you! I'm glad that you respected the life of the fish under your care enough to spend the time and money required. Now you are armed with knowledge that will keep him happy and healthy - plus you can share this knowledge with others and perhaps change a few more betta's lives!

A few Mollies and a few algae eaters....they are doing a great job at keeping the tank clean too.

Does he like the mollies? I too am going to upgrade to a 15 gallon from a 5.5 gallon and am looking into some tank mates.
