New Betta- Question

So I got this little guy as my early birthday present to myself(:
He is a delta tail and is very uniquely colored. Sea-green (I think?) scales and fins, with red on his fins close to his body. His fins look like they have little black dots on them on each ray, reminds me of needle stitching. The only thing that is bothering me is his face (that sounds kinda mean lol).
It's a peachy color on the lower half of his face and below his gills. I looked under a flashlight and there is not gold. I'm wondering if he is just missing scales or it is a part of his coloring? Just wanted to get another opinion!
I already lost 2 last new babies last week (my boy from Velvet, my girl from ammonia) and now my other boy Leo has Velvet. So I'm worried he has it too....please help me put my mind to rest!

Lol well velvet has been my nemesis lately so I'm super paranoid.
He's so cute! He keeps staring at himself in the tank wall as if to say "who is that handsome devil?" haha

Use separate tools for your tanks so as not to spread the bugs.

Green bettas are hard to find, he is very unique and pretty! congrats!

Oh yeah, learned that the hard way! I packed up everything that was in the infected tank, put it in a box and am going to take it home over Christmas to bleach it.

Thank you! It was between him and another one who was almost all nearly white and light red...but he had an angry face and this guy was too cute!

Oh yea, I can see why you fell in love with him, he is very beautiful, and I wouldn't worry about the (peachy color) A lot of fishes transform their colors from their cold cups after we get them in bigger tanks, and warmer water, it's a natural coloring up effect, shows they are healthy, and getting their vibrant colorings..he will have blended colorings as time goes on, it looks like:)

I hope so! He's pretty already but maybe he will color up even more. Just wanted to see what others thought!
And I have no idea! It's harder this time but I don't know why haha. But he looks sad without a name haha.

I wouldn't worry about the chin color, it could be his coloration. I believe some Bettas get discolored chins as they mature.
