Betta Parameters?

What are the betta parameters for a fish tank? Like Nitrite, nitrate, pH etc... Thanks for the help :3

Same as for any cycled tank: 0 ammonia & nitrites, <40 (some say <20) nitrates. Ph isn't typically a factor so long as it stays stable but if it drops into the low-mid 6's it can cause problems with the cycle.

If your tank isn't cycled, .25ppm ammonia, 0ppm nitrite and nitrate should be fine. That is usually the case unless your tap water is normally 1ppm or higher as others on this forum have already mentioned. In addition to that, they had to use bottled water because I don't think there is much you can do with 1ppm ammonia coming straight from clean tap water. Well, you can, as shellieca mention, cycle your tank if that is the case. Good luck friend.
