Explain Transhipping to Me?

I don't understand how this works. Can someone give me details?

Basically the Transhipper has all the permits needs to import live fish to the country they are in. Without these permits the fish are destroyed by customs upon entering the country in question.

You buy from Thailand breeder. He ships the fish along with 5,10 or even 20 + other breeders to this one transhipper. The transhipper check that the fish are still alive and safe to send on to the buyer. The transhipper contacts each person bought fish healthy enough to travel and gives them the cost to ship from their house to yours. You pay them the shipping and the fish continues it's journey to your door.

How long does it take? And since I'm in Texas what transshipper would I need?

How long it take depends on when the transhipper would be getting their next order. You could pick any but I would go with Linda since she is closet to you and will be a better judge of weather conditions in your area at the time of shipping. Her next shipment will be on Dec 9, 2012. Julie Tran is getting her next shipment on the Dec 2, 2012. Jennifer L Viveiros is getting her next shipment in Dec 6, 2012. BattaAkapes keeps a current list of next shipment dates for transhippers. I posted aquabid.com did before but I forgot I was going directly to his site to get the dates.
