sorry for your loss, its tough to deal with sick unresponsive fish in that situation. it was also similar to my DTHM when he was overly bloated. he just got very lazy/unresponsive when i tried to treat him with epsom salt. he didnt make it past 3 days. he definetely got shocked by the presence of ES but it wouldve been unavoidable if i left him in the normal tank.
