Well... this was rather unexpected. I bought Seraph for $23 from petco because I felt so bad for him. He was longer than his cup and had to form a semi circle to fit in it. He was the last betta I purchased, but he suddenly passed away last night while I was at work after being with us about a year. This is my first betta I have lost and I'm kind of freaked out because there were no signs of distress or illness. My bf says that it was probably old age because he was so large when we got him. He also never changed colors like my other two kings, so I suppose he could be right. I guess it was good that we could give him a warm, clean tank to live in for the last year.
