Talking Half-moon or Rose?

Just got my betta and I'm wondering what kind it is. I'm assuming it's a half crown, can someone tell me what it is?

Awww, hes lovely!! Very handsome. ;)
Hes definitely either in the Superdelta-Halfmoon range. Is that his full spread? I'm not seeing any CT in him really, looks more like he may have just taken a nip or two out of his tail.

Thanks! I think it is his full spread. And his tail must have been folded sideways a bit when I took a picture; I checked his tail and he's perfectly fine. Thanks again!

Ahh, I wondered because it looked like he may have been able to spread out a little more......but if thats his full spread, hes a lovely Superdelta. ;)

@DragonFish, I just got my betta to flare for me and his fin looked a bit more stretched and so I concluded that it is a halfmoon. But, I did realize that his fins look ragged, hopefully he will grow it back and maybe grow it even more! Thanks for the help guys!

He does look like he could spread a little more then in the picture. Does he get to the 180 degrees?
Haha, oh he'll definitely grow more. Though their growth-rate slows significantly once they reach adulthood, bettas lack the hormone that tells them to stop growing....so they'll gradually grow throughout their life. ;) He'll definitely get longer, larger fins as he ages, and that little bit of damage should heal up nicely with some time in a clean, warm home. :)
