I don't like them because of the mess they can make and also because it's hard to measure how much to give them.. The flakes can be all different sizes, whereas the pellets are all one size and easy to count out.

NLS also has garlic in it, which might make them seem more appitzing to your picky boys.
Where do you find NLS? I have never seen this brand.

I've seen it at Petco. I order most of my stuff online because it isn't available locally.

Its only available at Petco, or maybe a local specialty store if you have one around you. I THINK you may be able to find it online as well, though I'm not exactly sure where. I just picked mine up at Petco.

Omega One you should be able to find just about anywhere.

Haha, well the closest petco to me is like an hour away, so I actually order all my stuff off of petco's website, so if you go there, you can find it online. I'm pretty sure their free shipping deal on orders over $50 lasts until the end of this month. xD

Okay, will look for this NLS brand. Strange I've never heard of it before.

So the update since I last started the thread is that I experimented with feeding my picky males some flakes. Some of them started accepting (of all things) Kens marine flakes! LOL. Though reluctantly.
