I have good news. I put a heater in with him and it made a WORLD of difference. He's much more active and he is doing much better.

glad to hear he perked up with warm water.

As for food, you might try crushing the pellets if they are too big. If you have any frozen food, brine shrimp and blood worms are rarely refused!
