None, we have well water with no harmful additives. I will occasionally use stress coat or melafix when I have added new fish.

Symptoms and Treatment

She is still acting normally and eating normally.

About two to three weeks ago.
Have you started treating your fish? If so, how?
The tank is currently being treated for Velvet: 20ml Malacide on 12/4, 12/6, and 12/8. The filter cartriges have been removed.
I have not started treatment for Cornix, as I am not sure what the problem is. The closest thing I can find online is False Neon Tetra Disease/Neon Tetra Disease.

Does your fish have any history of being ill?
No.
How old is your fish (approximately)?
About a year old.

Neon Tetra Disease would not do that. By the looks of it, she just decided to jump colors lol. Looking at the second and third picture, shows that the colors are solid, rather that sketchy or blotted as some diseases can do. Not sure if this is classified as marble, or an actual jumping gene. I'm thinking jumping gene. I have yet to find a betta who does that, but there are a few people on here who have had drastic changes in their fish's color and believe that they are sick. She has been acting fine, yes?

She has been acting fine. healthy appetite, activity, etc. I had no idea that jumping colors existed, aside from marbling. Could this be something like reverse marbling?

Not exactly sure. I have only seen a handful of cases like this, and many of them ask just like you "what illness is this?!" Let me see if I can dig it up...

I know someone who has a MG boy just start to have the colour "drain" from him. He turned into a yellow boy. It was shocking to see the progression of the change.

It had not harmed the fish, but it was just stunning to see.
