Little concerned

Today my brother took this pic of Dino

the uper of his tail has fine since yesterday, but since im not home
today and problaby not tomorow and can't check him, i am concerned im
what hapened to him, can this be a fin root start? or he just torned his tail in somenthing, there is places that are a little sharp but he dosen't like go there.

Does not look like fin rot to me, looks like nips. Is he alone in the tank?

Possibly. But it doesn't look severe. Looks like there may also be some spots below as well on his anal fin(?). What kind of filter intake do you have or do you have a filter?

My guess is that it is part of the dangers of boys with delicate fins. It was likely caused by over excitement (similar to fin blow out, caused by mad flaring). Strong currents, the filter, or decor.

Just check to make sure the filter is not too strong, and none of the decorations are sharp. A piece of pantyhose or nylons would work well.

Thanx guys, then i think it's the back decor of rocks there some sharp rocks and i have seen him today liyng there, and his new filter has arived today the old one is broken, i will set the curent slow then and remove the back, man i have so much york making it
