bottom feeder for 20g betta tank Hard water high PH

I just got a 20 gallon tank for my betta, he was living in a 10 gallon for a year, And was wondering what bottom feeder would be ok for him. My ph is around 8.0 and the water is really hard, but my betta seems to be super fine, I do have one zebra snail and one apple snail in there now, but would Like another fish. Any one that would tolerate the hard alkaline water?

You could try corydoras. My water is really hard with a ph around 8 too and I am moving my betta into a 20 gallon soon and I will get 4-6 cories to go with him. I think they can adjust to the high ph.

Depends on what you want, a fish or an invertebrate? I would recommend an amano shrimp since it doesn't only help with algae, it can also help you with food that was not eaten by the betta and/or the other fishes.

I had shrimp but my betta loved the shirmp as well. I do have quite a bit of snails, but would like another fish. Ive heard that cories are hardy and will adjust to anything almost. My cousin kept them in village water and never removed the chorine and they are huge.
