Ooh, sounds great! Awesome :D I think I want to supplement fred's food with garlic. Maybe once a week, ccrush some garlic and soak the omega one pellets or bloodworms in them.

Does it affect water quality?

SORRY FOR HIJACKING YOUR THREAD, OP.

This is exactly how my bettas are. Right now I'm glad they are even eating the flakes.

There is no chance in h3LL that any of my bettas will even take a stab at any pellets.

Prime Reef by Ocean Nutrition is a good flake food for picky eater fish. I have never had a fish that refused to eat it, and I have been keeping fish for a long time!

Interesting. Because the flakes my picky bettas eat are actually Kens Marine Flakes.

Must be something about the flakes formulation when made for marine fish...?

It says Marine and Freshwater. I still would not feed food from marine animals to freshwater animals just like saltwater animals should not eat freshwater fish.
