The male pictured in this thread is a most definitely a young veiltail. Young veiltails often have a decent caudal spread, but as their fins grow longer...their tail begins to droop. Veiltails are basically roundtails that have a mutant dominant gene to have longer fins. True deltas are required to have long, sharp caudal edges. I bred veiltails 25 years ago, and I certainly know how to identify one.
