I use NLS, NLS Grow formula for my really small bettas, also use Omega One and Atison's. Also a few others that I get from a breeder called Black Gold and Pro-Grow.. and some from the IBS store that isn't sold in other stores at this time. Those are pretty much the pellets I use.

I know this Thread is old, BUT, from my research........totally AGREE!!

Aqueon pellets are OK, not the worst you could feed, but Omega One and New Life Spectrum are a higher quality brands and have less filler.

I didn't use to think this way, Dragonfish's first statement, but sure have changed. Have ran into numerous situations where I think I actually knew more than the employee did...........and I'm basically a Beginner! But, in giving them some defense, I'm retired and have the time to do research. But, if these employees knew as much as they should about fish/aquariums, pet stores would have to pay them a very high salary.

No, there aren't bloodworms in any pellet that I know of unless its something they don't list in the ingredients, which I highly doubt.
