TV Stupidity

So, last night I was watching the show "Take It All".
One the prizes that they were going to give away was a 570 gallon tank that is custom built by the show "Tanked". Since they were using visual references for said prize and couldn't have the lady hold a 570 gallon tank, the gave her a fish bowl to hold instead. In said fish bowl was a beautiful betta, red rosetail that has double tail features too. And a white stripe along the edge of it's tail. I see this a a terrible thing! They are making public their dubmness for fish! I have started this thread for those who want to complain over such things.

is it BC they treat fish like ornaments in large tanks? or is it bc they have "revolutionary" ideas for a tank? i find such shows are ok if the new owner of the tank appreciates the fish and takes proper care of it in a large tank. its times when they decide to have a skateboeard ramp tank where such precious brain cells couldve been better distributed. its ironic too see them go overboard for exotic tropical fish while down playing the hardy betta.

its like they think the stock they put in the tank is in a localized oasis area in the actual ocean. they heave very nice displays but it would only makes sense if the tank was 10x bigger or larger.

fish tank kings did take an old milk truck, cut it in half and it looked awesome but its probably only 4-5 ft deep and as long as the truck was.

have you seen fish tank kings? its the same concept of a show. i dont know how they do on overstocking but it might be ths same extent.

On the safe one in tanked show. The tanks was filled with too many fish. I mean there was a fish like every 3 inches maybe 5.

On a side note, did you see the entire episode? Can you believe how that girl Amber got screwed out of her money at the end???!!

They also put fish that will outgrow the tank and then tell the customers to just get rid of them when they are too big.

I never did see "tanked", tho because of programs such as that I had abandoned my multi-channels of television all together three years ago. Since, I had benn reunited with an old friend.... my mind. :)
