Hey everyone!! I know I haven't been on in quite awhile, I've been crazy busy with school, finals, and interning at the horse/farm animal rescue, but I've been missing this forum and y'all like crazy!!

I recently lost most of my girls and all but 3 of my boys in a freak power outage, the second half of this year has not been good to me or my fish! I seriously miss rescuing, and I decided that I'm tired of letting things get in the way of my love for these fish and my passion for rescuing them! So today I will be going to petsmart to check out the fish and get some new girls and possibly pick up a rescue!

As usual the condition of the fish at my local petsmart was absolutely disgusting. There were 4 dead, I refused to buy any of the females because I just did not want to get the store money. I found a HMPK male who was in such a small amount of water that he was on his side at the bottom of the cup and the water was dark brown, I had no clue what he actually looked like!

I ended up getting him at a discounted rate, because it didn't look like he had a very good chance of survival.

Well when I got to the boyfriends I immediately changed the water in his cup, he'll going into his half of the divided 5.5 gallon today!
