Exclamation Fallen Fry

So, my HM is a lazy dad. The female put most of the eggs into the nest, and after I removed her, he let all of the babies fall to the bottom half hatched.

This is where I found them this morning. I put them in a floater cup with about an inch of water.

Is there any hope for them surviving? They were half out of their eggs...and no movement...GODS, let me have a miracle. I feel so sad for my fallen fry...

If the male isn't taking care of the eggs/fry, remove him. The hatched eggs will or should survive on their own, regardless of water depth. If you're worried, reduce the water to a level you're comfortable with. Plants also helps as resting places for fry.

If you have common snails, they will take care of bad eggs. Otherwise try to siphon as much as you can to reduce possible ammonia. Once they're free swimming, add 1-2g water daily until full, then begin partial water changes (more better).

I removed him, and I hope they fry dont have any defects... I have the horrible feeling that there will be a LOT of culls. I looked at a few of the half hatched fry and some had crooked backs. I may need to find another Dragonscale for this line.
