A disgusting aparition

Gah!!! white worms on the glass of my tank, very very tiny, at first I thought they looked like dust.. then I thought, dust? INSIDE THE WATER??

They move and gah disgusting... How to get rid of it? Like kill it! Exterminate it! Make it go extinct lol.

It's in my 20 gallon that I was cycling.

I admit I have overfed my lotl in there but I vaccum after every feeding and do 20% water changes a day. I don't understand hoow they popped in, I don't want to reduce their population, I want to kill it.

I had those suckers before, they didnt hurt the fish, so i didn't care. They hid in the rocks and that's all they really did. I did a 50% water change and they disappeared within the week. Do you have any new plants (living) or rocks? Thats how mine got in, those bastards. Anyways best of luck!

A seashell? Did you boil it or scrub it a bit? If so then probably not. I have no clue how they appeared then, but they'll go away if they have no food sources. They'll wither away (thank goodness, i hate all those creepy crawlers myself. ick. )

Well, we have found the root of the problem. Yeah those buggers will see their final days soon, they dont live long.

probably planaria, harmless but disgusting. Gravel vac like a madman/woman!

Generally critters like this pop up when there is excess food.

yeah I heard that QQ makes no sense cause i vaccum daily 20%... well, no more gravel for me D:< die die die!!! XD

I had them in my 3G. I reduced food for betta, suckered the gravel well with each water change (removing a goodly number of them each time), and hit the tank with Coppersafe for good measure. It took a few weeks, but they did go away.
