So uh.. My boyfriend came home with an EE I nearly peed my pants I was so excited.. He's a multi-color with big white "ears" and so cute.. He uses the castle in his tank.. Oh I'm in love. (With the betta or my boyfriend? You can take a guess!)

Picture time!!! He loves his castle so I've named him Princey x3.. He's so cute... I saw a marble EE at Petco today after exchanging my dogs harness... I had to walk away =[.. no extra fish money. If he is still there in Two weeks I might get him.













Also my CT M, STARDUST... I don't know what color he is other than calling him a gold/green marble? Maybe? ._.

what does EE standfor? Elephant ear?

Yes, it's Elephant Ear, referring to there large fins. If you're really lucky they'll mismark them as a Halfmoon.

that would be awesome. I have a sick female crowntail now, really old. She's my only betta so after she dies I'm going to try my hand at raising a baby betta

If I'm not mistaken, someone on here said they purchased a baby betta and it turned out to be an EE. Most say they'll be VT or CTs though.

Also, Alex and I had a conversation about the fish, and we agreed to try not to end up with a house full of bettas, but we are going to do a betta adoption type rescue and see how it goes. What a wonderful man <3
