Smile New betta and new guppy!!!!

Hi all, HarpaBetta here.
I was worried that Harpa was going to die, because he was acting strangely and not normal. So I rushed to a fish store called Great White Aquatics and got a new betta, along with a feeder fish, to go in the 7 x 3.5 cm tank. It fits him perfectly! Anyway, I came home, and realized that the silly little guy was doing fine. So we are going to get something for the new betta, Rica, to live in. So now I have 3 fish.... yay!!! I named the guppy Tropic, short for Tropical. So I am so happy!!! Oh, I can't believe it, my guppy was only $0.15, and my betta was $6.00, (plus tax, lol)

P.s. No mean comments please, I am just really happy, while I am usually down in the dumps. I fish!

... I don't think buying a new fish when a fish is sick will help. I'm not being mean, it's just my view. How many gallons is your tank? Guppies need at least 10 gallons, that's definitely not 10 gallons. And they're schooling fish... They'll need more to be happy. If you love fish, then I suggest returning the guppy and keeping your new Betta in that only one. :) Either way, it's good that you have a new Betta. Not much of a guppy fan, but they're kinda cute. (;

This was not a mean post, it was more of an educational one. All we want is what's best for the fish and what suits the owner's desire.

Wink

yup. btw, i like your pic... haha i would too. 2 gal and i was just buying a new betta so when he died i could just dump water out and put new water (along with Rica, lol) in. the guppy, (oh yeah they are pretty cute) seems pretty happy in his little tank, not trying to be rude.all of the fish are just swimming around and having fun!!! :)

I'm confused; is there a guppy living with your betta?
