Best betta food

Hi there, I am currently feeding all nutrafin products and they are:

freeze-dried bloodworms
the pellets
color enhancing flakes

This brands was the only betta food at my local petstore. I want to give them a better diet and I now understand that the bloodworms are treats only.

Both of them dont eat the flakes and the other will eat the pellets. I was looking at petsmart because of all the sales and just wondering what are good food for bettas. I know my one needs a little diet.. I did spoil him a little. Just wondering if i could get some input.

Well, the best one would be New Life Spectrum, but not a lot of stores sell them. I heard petco carries them, but I didn't see any at the petcos I go to. I just bought mine online.

I don't think we have a petco here in canada, I could buy it online too.... What do you use? like pellets, flakes etc?

I use New Life Spectrum betta formula. My little guy loves them :D I also have Hikari freeze dried bloodworms and daphnia but I have yet to feed those to him.

NLS Betta Formula is the best IMO. The first 3 ingredients are protein based, and it doesn't have much fillers. Great for staple, but there are also others. Like Golden Pearl and Attison's. But Attison's Betta Pro discontinued so now it's not that good.
