Hi! I now know that siamese fighter fish is also known as betta thanks to this wonderful forum.
Anyways, my betta hid under a conch im my aquaruim and i didn't see it for 2 days. I removed the conch and it came out. So 1. Was it stuck, if so don't they need to surface for air for breathing. 2. Is it normal behavior or something is wrong. 3. About the apple snails. i have some but they are from bangkok. The store keepers all here in Kathmandu say they help for cleaning. Dont look exactly like apple snails but somehow similar in apperance. Should I remove them.

I use different very effective meds together. When a fish gets sick its 0 percent survival with regular or a way better chace of survival with mixed meds. I tested it on guppies. For a sick Betta I use IAL, Aquarium salt, Coppersafe, and Ick Attack.

No I dont even handle my own Medicine. I take a lot of Advil though. I get a lot of Headaches espically on Mondays.

He may surface when you're not watching. Is your tank heated? He may be hiding to stay warm or something. How often do you clean it and how big is the tank?
Depending how big your tank is, you may or may not have to remove your snail. Don't keep more than one in a small tank...
