No, I think you're blunt without disrespecting anyone. At least, you haven't disrespected anyone from what I've seen.

You don't make remarks that could potentially be hurtful; you give advice Choc.

Couldn't have said this better myself!
I agree with you 100%.
We should want to encourage people to get in and stay in this hobby, and to do it right, being rude isn't helping anyone.

There are some people who come here and expect everyone to agree with them. But if they show a genuine interest in improving we should help them.

Choc has a very good point.

If the original poster is saying their fish (betta or whatever) is in a 1/2 g bowl, with a plastic plant and is thriving and posts pics of a clamped fish but won't except our advice and basically doesn't care to improve, and is blowing everyone off with snobby comments; then he or she is also being rude.

If you come to BF.com please be ready to except friendly advice and change your tanks if need be. We all know it's hard to supply money for the fish but if you have an animal be ready to properly take care of it.

Thank you for saying I have a good point. I feel many people are here to share what they know and learn.

I find ot frustrating when people ask why there Bettas sick and dont give any info. I notice some people say they do plenty of water changes and later find out they mean 1 10 percent monthly.
