I'm not sure how big your baby is, but all the pellets I tried other than hikari micro pellets were still too large for him/her. You might need to crush the omega one when you try to feed them

I feed new life spectrum small fish formula. Pellets are much smaller and the ingredients are nearly identical to the betta formula. I got it when I first got my fish and all the other pellets were too big. Now he's grown and I'm still feeding him the small fish formula. My platies eat it too.

New Life Spectrum GROW food is idea - very tiny and higher quality. Frozen foods would be okay to mix in with the pellets. Unfortunately, they don't always tell you what a baby betta requires, and those young of ones still need lots of feeding and high quality food.

The only NLS food small enough (1mm) at my store was Thera + A Regular Formula. There was no Betta, grow, or small fish. This one has garlic in it. The little baby is eating these crushed.
