Just to be sure...

After a near fatal use of melafix I returned it to the local pet store, calmly, but sternly informed the pot headed grandson of the store owner about the effects of tea tree oil on bettas and bought some of this stress coat. I want to be sure this will not hurt him before I add it to his tank. Thank You.

People on here told me the tea tree oil in melafix can coat their labyrinth organ and suffocate them.

Everything that's in the api band. It's just generic.
